Our Story

SYC was born from Sterling’s lifelong passion for creativity. While studying fashion design in London, UK in 2008, Sterling adopted the DJ name SterlingBlack, inspired by the diverse and eclectic club scene, particularly a night called Ain’t It Black. That experience fueled his vision of building a brand that celebrates individuality, culture, and creative expression.

Years later, after friends consistently asked him for product recommendations—from herbal teas and candles to skincare essentials—Sterling realized it was time to curate his own collection. Thus, SterlingBLVCK Premium was created, offering a line of grooming, wellness, and lifestyle products designed for those who value quality, style, and comfort.
